Exercise 1: Reacting to photos

 

Look at the questions and record your answers. Speak for no longer than one minute.   Someone has just given the people in the photos some news.  What do you think they said? Think of two or three ideas for each picture. How do you think the people in the pictures reacted to the news? What did they say? Think of two or three reactions from each person. Give reasons for your answers.
