Phrasal verbs: buying and selling clothes
I hate clothes shopping. It takes me ages to find something I like. Then I put it overonabout and discover it's the wrong size. So I take it offoutaway. I go and ask the shop assistant if they've got it in my size. And guess what! It's always sold awayoffout.
I love buying new clothes. I can spend all day looking overroundabout the shops. I pick onover up lots of different clothes on my way round a shop and then I try them all onupover. I never hang things outup back again. I mean, the shop assistants look so bored most of the time I might as well give them something to do!
