Exercise 1: Persuading, agreeing and disagreeing

 

Look at the questions and record your answers. Speak for no longer than one minute. Look at pictures 1 & 2. Decide which of these activities you would rather do. Try and persuade your friend to go with you. What would you say?          Look at pictures 3 & 4. Decide which of these activities you don’t want to do. Imagine your friend is trying to persuade you to do it. What would you say?
