Rosie went to live in Ireland with her grandmother.

She has been an adventurer for most of her life. She's sailed around the world. She's ridden a horse across South America. She is most famous for her running. She's competed in marathons all over the world. She's run 27 marathons in 27 days! Rosie has also written several books about her adventures.

she decided to go on a new adventure – to run around the world! People started to find out about her trip,

4

she appeared in newspapers and on TV to talk about it. This meant she had a chance to talk about her husband being ill. It's a long way around the world,
