Exercise 1: An informal email

 

Write an informal email.   Task:  Write an informal email to a friend about your plans for next year. Include information about your past activities and your future plans.   Ideas: Answer these questions. What did you do last year? What were your achievements and disappointments? What are you going to do next year? What plans have you got?   Plan: Organize your ideas into paragraphs. Begin with Hi and your friend’s name. Paragraph 1: Ask about your friend’s news / health. Paragraph 2: Describe what you did last year. Paragraph 3: Describe your plans for next year. Finish your letter with a personal comment or question.   Write: Write your email.   Check: Check your spelling, grammar and punctuation.

1.  Write your task in another program (e.g. Word).
2.  Save the file to your computer.
3.  Upload your file.
4.  If you want to add a note to your teacher, write it in the Comments box.
5.  Select Submit to Dropbox to send your work to your teacher.
