Exercise 1: Asking for personal information

 

Talk about yourself and record what you say. Speak for no longer than one minute. Here are some questions to help you: Where are you from? What’s it like there? What’s your family like? What do you do? What subjects are you studying? Which subjects do you enjoy most? Why? What do you do in your free time?  Try and give full answers. For example:    'Where are you from?' 'I’m from Wareham. It’s a small town near the sea in the south of England. It gets very busy in the summer because a lot of tourists come here; but in the winter it’s very quiet and sleepy.'
